DC to DC Boost Converter

These circuits are used to "boost" an incoming DC voltage to a higher level.
They acheive this by charging an inductor thru a "gated" power mosfet; from the incoming voltage.
At switch off: the collapsing magnetic field in the inductor
produces a potential (like back EMF) which is then rectified and filtered .
This is at a much higher voltage, which is series aiding with the input supply.
The power mosfet is gated (on/off) at 200KHz ~ 1MHz or thereabouts by an oscillator.
